The new website One Part Scissors has created for the Dent Doctor franchise takes the entire look and feel of the company in a new direction. The focus is on the customer’s experience, and most importantly, the imagery of the website has moved away from dented cars, to people enjoying their vehicles. The message conveyed is one that reminds the visitor that their car can be the source of enjoyable experiences, and while they are currently looking to resolve a difficult ‘car situation’, the images in  site keep the purpose behind the repair in the top of the customer’s mind.

The website makes use of a content management system which allows Dent Doctor to quickly and easily update the site with news and new branches, and a branch browser allows visitors to the site to quickly find their closest branch.

The Music Works Logo

September 4th, 2008

One Part Scissors was approached to design a logo for The Music Works, owned by David Waugh aka “The President” from the band Lonehill Estate.

The logo is bold, clean and timeless. “We stayed away from strong music symbolism, as the company deals mainly with corporates. It’s always great to work with a client who has a clear idea of what they want to see. We did explore bringing across more of Dave’s contagious personality with font choices, colour and layout but we decided to leave that up to the music he’s producing. The logo works.”

The new website for the Institute of Christian Psychology was created by One Part Scissors in conjunction with the I Scream Truck agency. I Scream Truck developed the initial concept, and One Part Scissors brought that concept to life with a content management system that will allow ICP to keep their content up to date.

The slick, stylish website is easy to navigate and makes the task of researching education options enjoyable.

The Rhema South Family Church approached One Part Scissors to completely overhaul their website.

The new website that OPS has created for Rhema South makes use of the user focused technologies of Web 2.0 to carry the community-driven culture of Rhema South onto the Internet. Forums for online debate and discussion, interest polls, comments, news feeds, and tools for visitors to interact with the website in more ways have all created a website that is as much a meeting place for the church body as it is a source of information about the church.
