One Part Scissors has recently overhauled the website of Electraplan. The new website uses Scriptaculous effects to hold the full product range’s information on a single page that is easy to browse.

Mouse-over tooltips guide the users through products section, and motion indicates what has happened when the viewer clicks a button.

A clean, simple design ensures that users of the site will be able to browse the site and quickly find the information they are looking for, and a downloadable PDF of the product range allows people to save and print the site’s information in a useful format.

One Part Scissors has designed a corporate website for Tuf Foam, a polyurethane foam manufacturer who has been in the foam business for over 20 years.

The website we designed for Tuf Foam was clean, stylish, and easy to navigate. A cool blue palette was introduced to complement the bright orange of the logo, and Flash was utilized to bring movement and interest to the website.

One Part Scissors has installed Google Analytics tracking tools into the website to allow Tuf Foam to monitor their visitors and analyze their website traffic, which will in time direct their efforts to enhance the website and offer content that is relevant to the site’s visitors.

One Part Scissors has created an online directory system for My Auto SA. The website allows visitors to browse through a complete and comprehensive listing of all thing automotive in South Africa.

The cutting edge Drupal based system minimises the administration required to keep the site up to date - company listings added are automatically included in the menu systems based on their classifications, and automatic “Similar Links” on all pages help users get the most out of the website.

Dynamically created pages mean that the website is fast and easily searchable, and image uploads by users are regulated to ensure file sizes are kept in an acceptable range. The use of sophisticated web 2.0 ‘taxonomy’ methods of classifying information means that the content is robust and easy to present in a wide variety of ways. Over time, this online resource can be expanded to cater for the needs of it’s growing audience. The use of the Google Adwords and Google Adsense products will assist in bringing traffic to the website (Adwords), and creating an additional source of financial income (Adsense).

One Part Scissors has created a new website for Logistics365 that is uncomplicated and stylish.

The main feature of a website in the courier business is the quote request and delivery/pickup request forms. OPS built an online form that checks the inputs from the user as they type to simplify and speed up the submission process.
The automatic form verification also ensures that Logistics365 does not get any blank quote requests, or quote requests with missing vital information.

The left hand services menu makes use of the latest Scriptaculous animation effects to provide info about the various services.
