Renaissance Group Logo
While conceptualising the logo for the Renaissance Group, we drew inspiration from the art of the period of the Renaissance, to embody the concept of the Renaissance Man - communicating that the Renaissance company is a master at a range of skills and abilities.
The symbol in the logo is an abstract concept. Drawing inspiration from images of Renaissance-period sculptures which are often shown as just the torso, missing arms and heads, we developed a symbol that has an artistic, brush-stroke feel to it, suggesting one of these sculptures, but the overall effect is that the lines for the letter ‘R’. This logo has a fresh, light feeling to it, and attempts to embody the feeling of upward motion associated with the Renaissance Man - always moving forward and upward, gaining more knowledge.
